I’m a teacher. I am one step closer to make a fairly good citizen and make some money and pay taxes. Oh, well and teach kids how to do things. If you have this wild imagination you could assume I am a bit like the female version of MacGyver, but instead of defusing bombs or making them out of bubblegumwrap and paperclips. I do it with spoons, pots, knitting needles and english vocabulary.
I also take pictures when my camere allows me too. I also write, if my brain allows me to put the things in words. somehow.
Oh! and my name is Annika.
I love discussions, whether it is something MacGyver related or other things you come up with. Or a hello!, I love hearing hello!

Hallo,
ein tolles Blog, was du hier hast. Ich war schon öfter hier. Gefunden habe ich dein Blog, als ich Blogs gesucht habe, die das wordpress-Theme Wu-wei verwenden, das ich auch für mein Blog verwenden wollte, und dann auch verwendet habe. Ich wollte sehen, wie Wu-wei so ‘im Betrieb’ aussieht.
Und danach habe ich gemerkt, dass ich immer wieder mal gern hier bei dir vorbeischaue. Mir gefällt deine Art zu schreiben.

Hello Emma, Annika! What a find! Beautiful pictures and a very unpretentious, wise and worldly person you are. If I read you correctly, you must be finished with your university work and ready to start paying taxes (a much underrated pastime) – if so, here’s one sentence of advice. Make every kid feel important.
And a recipe for delicious simple soup. Take a small Hokkaido Squash (Kürbis) peel, cut into smal cubes, add a little water in a pot, simmer for ten minutes. Add a spoonful of sugar, salt, pepper, put in the blender, add a touch of curry and squeeze in some ginger. Schmeckt köstlich! (The Zissou – is that Zinadine Zindane?)
Well yes you did read correctly, my career will be finished at the end of october if everything goes according to plan! and in feburary there will be taxes and driving and teaching and stuff!

Zissou or the nickname/pseudonym comes from Steve Zissou and the movie by Wes Anderson “The Life Aquatic” it’s one of my favourite movies. So no football reference there ;)

ich bin auch deinem Blog über die wunderbare sandra juto gelandet. Du hast beim TUT-Auto geschrieben, dass das Auto aus Deiner Heimat kommt. Ich komme auch aus Tuttlingen.
So ein lustiger Zufall.
Seit knapp zwölf Jahren lebe ich am anderen ende deutschlands, in bremen. hier habe ich kulturwissenschaften studiert und arbeite nun brav halbtags, verwöhne mich, mann, hund und kind.
