I stumbled over New Zealand based Soul/Hip/Trip/Hop musician Chet Faker in a music blog. He covered “No Diggity” (by Blackstreet) and he did it with such wit and easiness, that his soundcloud page became an instant favourite tune in. I’d sit and just listen and get swept away by all the beats simmering and the voice singing. Outside it’s warm, you’re sitting under a tree in the shadow and time doesn’t matter. At least in my head, when I hear Chet Faker.
